The Story Behind Vallo
Mayank Singh Chouhan, a student at UPES Dehradun, experienced firsthand what it meant to rely on transportation systems with zero visibility, zero safety assurance, and zero connected infrastructure.
Buses arrived without notice. Shared rides happened through scattered phone calls and WhatsApp groups. Payments were cash-only. And if something went wrong during the journey, there was no intelligent support system to help commuters.
That frustration eventually became a question: why should reliable transportation technology only exist for premium users in metro cities?
That question became Vallo — a smart mobility ecosystem built specifically for everyday commuters across India.
Starting from Dehradun and the Uttarakhand region, Vallo was designed to help students, office workers, local travellers, and communities experience transportation that is smarter, safer, connected, and affordable.
