Keeping India
Moving Cleaner

Local transport already exists. The opportunity is to make more people use it, more efficiently — reducing congestion, shortening wait times and making shared journeys the norm rather than the exception.

Our Thinking

Transport technology as an environmental lever

India has buses, shared autos and Magic Vans running through the city every day. The problem is not the absence of transport — it's the absence of visibility. When people cannot easily see what's available, they default to private vehicles or book individual rides that could have been shared.

VALLO addresses that gap. By making local transport visible, easy to use and reliable, we reduce unnecessary individual trips and help existing shared transport carry more passengers. That is the most direct way a transport platform can reduce emissions without making claims about operating its own fleet.

We are not building an electric fleet. We are building the digital layer that makes local, shared transport worth using — and that is a meaningful contribution to how people move around India.

How We Help

Our approach to cleaner commuting

Practical steps VALLO takes toward a lower-impact transport network

Shared Transport First

VALLO surfaces shared local transport options before private alternatives, encouraging commuters to choose rides that already exist rather than adding more vehicles to the road.

Smarter Route Discovery

By helping passengers find the most direct route to their destination using existing local transport, we reduce detour journeys and the total distance travelled across the network.

Reduced Wait-Related Trips

Long waits push commuters toward private vehicles. When people can see vehicle arrivals in real time, they wait at the right stop — reducing unnecessary short hops and backtracking.

Our Direction

The 2030 ambition

We believe that technology-enabled shared mobility can meaningfully reduce per-trip emissions in cities like India — where the transport infrastructure already exists but remains underutilised.

Our ambition by 2030 is to help build a cleaner local mobility network by increasing shared mobility, improving route efficiency and supporting the transition toward lower-emission transport options as the city and its transport network evolve.

This is a direction, not a guarantee. Every feature we build is evaluated against whether it helps more people share fewer vehicles — and we will be transparent about progress as we grow.

2030

Cleaner Network Ambition

Help build a smarter, more shared, lower-emission local transport network for India and the communities we serve.

This is an aspiration grounded in our product direction, not a verified emissions target. We will share concrete metrics as they become available.
